Getting Ready for Grad School is part of our Beyond Global Spartan Welcome (GSW) program, designed to supplement GSW content and ease the transition of new international students.
Cultural Conversations
Cultural Conversations are a series of interactive workshops hosted by International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) as part of the Beyond Global Spartan Welcome series. Designed to help new international students successfully transition to life at SJSU and in the U.S., these sessions offer a space for students to explore cultural topics, share diverse perspectives, and engage in intercultural dialogue. The program aims to provide students with the resources, context, and strategies needed to navigate cultural differences and thrive in their new academic and personal environments.

Global Leader Chats
Get peer-to-peer advice on everyday life, and connect with other international students. Each session is facilitated by our Global Leaders and focuses on a particular topic.
